Position: Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC Programmer
Base Location: Pune
Reports to: National Sales Manager
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.

Position Description:
We are currently seeking experienced PLC Programmer (Rockwell or Allen Bradley) to join our team. As part of this role, your primary focus will be on developing, programming, and testing these PLC systems with HMI and SCADA. Additionally, you will also be actively involved in on-site installation and commissioning activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to design and develop PLC systems with HMI and SCADA, ensuring their specific requirements are met.
- Program and thoroughly test the system to ensure optimal functionality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation and commissioning.
- Conduct training sessions for operators and maintenance personnel to ensure their proficiency in operating and maintaining.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Work closely with customers to ensure their satisfaction by meeting their specific requirements and ensuring the functionality of the systems.
- Provide technical support to customers during and after the installation and commissioning phases.
- Contribute valuable insights on design and functionality during product development meetings.
Requirements (experience/skills):
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in programming Rockwell PLC systems with HMI and SCADA.
- Possesses strong knowledge of programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams, and Structured Text.
- Demonstrates familiarity with servo and variable frequency drives, vision systems, and motion control systems.
- Proficiency in Rockwell Automation Software Suite, including Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, and FactoryTalk View SE, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Rockwell Kinetix for servo and variable frequency drives (VFD) configuration is preferred.
- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning as required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Generating sales leads. (directly, through trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, etc.).
- Qualifying the leads and actively following up.
- Sending introductory emails to leads generated through trade fairs or those which come through Principals. The inquiry is then forwarded to the technical team for technical discussions.
- Organize and meet prospective customers & discuss/understand their requirements in detail.
- Communicate the requirement to the principals and get suitable techno- commercial offer.
- Summarizing & explaining offers received from our principals to the customer.
- Closing new orders with Involvement of sales head.
- Follow-up on order dispatch (both new machines as well as spare parts)
- Handling of spare part order from inquiry stage till payment and consignment clearance and delivery.
- Miscellaneous – Assisting Principals and Customers for Visa application, making invitation letters, etc.
- Active involvement in developing sub-vendors to localize parts of the equipment, in an effort to reduce costs.
- Coordinate with all developments (after sales, service, accounts) of our principals, and build relations with key persons for better support to Indian customers (the companies we represent have global operations, so we need to build relations for prompt support to India)
